China-Japan Friendship Hospital (CJH) is a large-scale, comprehensive and modern hospital located in Beijing, China, built in cooperation between the governments of China and Japan, and is a Grade 3A hospital directly under the National Health and Wellness Commission. The hospital was established on October 23, 1984, with free assistance from the Japanese government, and is one of the first modern hospitals in China to receive free assistance from abroad after the reform and opening up. The hospital is located in Cherry Blossom Garden East Street, Chaoyang District, Beijing, covering an area of about 9.7 hectares, with a building area of nearly 120,000 square meters and an establishment of 1,610 beds.
