Shanghai International Medical Center (SIMC) is located in Shanghai International Medical Park (SIMP), the core area in the southern part of Shanghai Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park, occupying an area of 104 acres with a building area of 97,000 square meters, adjacent to Shanghai International Tourism Resort (SITR) and Disneyland, and 15 kilometers from Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone and 17 kilometers from Pudong International Airport. The Medical Center is a large-scale general hospital with international medical vision, modern services and standardized medical management. The hospital has a total of 500 beds, 118 outpatient clinics, 15 operating rooms and 10 integrated maternity wards, and is equipped with advanced CT, MRI, DSA, linear gas pedal and other large-scale medical equipment. As a “pilot project of medical reform” of the National Health Commission and Shanghai Municipal Government, SIMC has cooperated with the key specialties and medical teams of dozens of tertiary hospitals affiliated with Jiaotong University and Fudan University, such as Ruijin, Sun Yat-sen, Renji, Huashan, Xinhua, and Nine Hospitals, etc. More than 2,000 specialists have been sitting in the clinic and operating in the SIMC, and more than 2,000 specialists are regularly and stably working at SIMC.
