The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University (GAMU) is a large-scale, comprehensive, tertiary-level hospital located in the Yuexiu District of Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, China, with a history dating back to 1903, and was originally known as the Sino-French Taomei Hospital. The hospital not only serves as the first clinical college of Guangzhou Medical University, but also undertakes important teaching, research and medical missions, and is one of the first 13 National Clinical Medical Research Centers in China.
